How to Use OOPbuy — 8 Steps

A complete walkthrough of buying through OOPbuy — from selecting a product on Taobao or 1688, to receiving your international parcel. Each step is what actually happens; tips highlight common questions.

    You have three ways to find what you want.

    Method 1 — Paste a link

    Find the product on Taobao, Tmall, 1688, or Weidian. Copy the full URL and paste it into OOPbuy's search bar. Friend's share-link works too.

    Method 2 — Search by name

    Type the product name in the OOPbuy search bar and pick from the suggested listings.

    Method 3 — Image search

    Use the image search button and upload a photo to find similar products.

    Tip If the product link is from a non-supported site, OOPbuy will route you to a manual sourcing request so an agent can source the item — you fill in the spec, the agent finds it.
  2. Submit the Order

    OOPbuy can capture most product information from Taobao / Tmall / 1688 / Weidian automatically. On the loaded product page:

    1. Pick the exact variant (color, size, spec).
    2. Set quantity.
    3. Click Add to Cart (to consolidate later) or Buy Now (to pay immediately).

    If you want to consolidate multiple items into one order, check them in the cart and click Check Out.

  3. Pay the Product Fee

    Choose a payment method and pay product price + Chinese domestic shipping (seller → OOPbuy warehouse).

    • Multi-currency payments supported (USD / EUR / GBP / CNY etc.).
    • Methods: credit card, PayPal, OOPbuy balance.
    • Enter your destination country/region and any order notes before paying.

    After a successful payment, click View Order to follow it in your account — or keep shopping and consolidate later.
    Note Service fees may apply for value-added options (rehearsal, fine photos, custom packaging). All fees are shown before you confirm payment.
  4. OOPbuy Procurement

    OOPbuy's purchasing team contacts the seller and orders the product on your behalf.

    • Beijing time 09:00–18:00 orders — processed within 6 hours.
    • Beijing time 18:00–08:00 orders — processed before 14:00 next day.
    • Sellers usually ship within 3–7 days; JD / Amazon self-fulfilled often same-day.
    Tip Click Order Inquiry in your account to message the agent — if extra info is needed they will reach you by email or chat.
  5. Quality Inspection & Storage

    Once goods arrive at the warehouse (Xiamen, Fujian), OOPbuy:

    1. Receives, weighs, and photographs each item.
    2. Posts QC photos to your account — you review under User Center → Warehouse.
    3. Stores accepted items for up to 90 days free; you can extend if needed.

    Domestic transit times to the OOPbuy warehouse:

    • Pearl River Delta sellers — 1–2 working days.
    • Other provinces — 3–5 working days.
    • Remote regions — ~7 working days.

  6. Submit a Parcel

    Open Warehouse in your account, tick the items you want shipped, and click Submit Parcel. Then:

    1. Confirm or update the recipient address.
    2. Pick the recommended shipping route or pick another from the list.
    3. Choose value-added services if needed (remove shoe boxes, bubble wrap, custom packaging).
    4. Optionally run Parcel Rehearsal for a tighter cost estimate.

    Confirm the shipping address and the items going into the parcel, then submit it for packing and a final freight quote.
    Note Some items have shipping restrictions (sensitive products, large dimensions). The system filters available routes based on your selection.
  7. Pay International Shipping

    OOPbuy packs and weighs the parcel, then quotes final international shipping. The quote includes:

    • Customs clearance fees.
    • Handling and value-added service fees.
    • The shipping rate (by country, line, and billed weight).

    Once the parcel is weighed, the freight cost appears — review the line and weight, then confirm and pay.
    Tip Final shipping is calculated on the carrier's measured weight + dimensions. If actual cost is lower than what you paid, the difference refunds to your OOPbuy account after shipment.
  8. Sign for Receipt

    Once handed to the carrier, your parcel typically takes 7–18 days depending on country and route. Track in My Waybill → Waybill Details.

    On delivery:

    • Inspect outer packaging before signing — if damage is visible, take photos and refuse the delivery.
    • Open within 2 days; if damage or missing items, contact OOPbuy customer service to file a claim.
    • For after-sales service, select the relevant parcel in My Waybill and click Apply for After-Sales.
    Note Customs delays, taxation, and rare losses can occur during international transit — OOPbuy informs you of route-specific risks before you confirm the parcel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole process take?
From order to delivery, typically 2–4 weeks. Domestic 2–7 days + warehouse holding (your choice) + international 7–18 days. Consolidating multiple orders extends the warehouse phase.
Can I cancel an order after paying?
Before the seller ships — usually yes, refund to account balance. After the seller ships — only if QC fails or you reject the item.
What if the seller doesn't have my size?
OOPbuy will message you. Options: refund, switch to a substitute, or wait. Default behavior depends on what you wrote in the order note.
Do I pay twice — once for product, once for shipping?
Yes. Product + service fee first (at order), international shipping later (at parcel submission). This is normal for buying agents.
Where can I track the parcel after it ships?
Go to My Waybill → Waybill Details. Tracking updates frequency depends on the chosen line.
