What the 5-Day No-Reason Return Service is

The 5-Day No-Reason Return Service lets you return or exchange a product after it reaches OOPbuy's warehouse, even if there is nothing wrong with it. The clock starts at the next full hour after the order shows Stored in Warehouse and runs for 120 hours. Because OOPbuy inspects items before they leave China, you get to decide while the product is still in the warehouse — not after it has crossed a border.

Which products qualify

Items split into two groups. If the seller offers no-reason returns and the goods come back within 5 days, new and resalable, you are covered. The list below shows the common cases that are not covered.

How to request a return or exchange

After the status changes to Stored in Warehouse, open the order and start a no-reason return or exchange within the 5-day (120-hour) window. Make sure your account balance can cover the fees before you submit — the request needs them to proceed.

Service fees

  • Return (personal reason): shipping back to the seller + return shipping + a 5 CNY service fee.
  • Exchange (personal reason): shipping to the seller + the seller's second shipment + a 5 CNY service fee.
  • Not your fault: if the reason is not caused by you, you do not pay the return or exchange cost.

Regular users get the first return or exchange each month with the service fee waived. If the item was originally free-shipping, the original shipping still has to be reimbursed to the seller when you return or exchange it.

Notes before you file

  • Refunds are based on the actual price you paid for the product.
  • Returns and exchanges still need the seller's approval.
  • Keep enough balance to cover shipping and service fees, or the request can't go through.
  • Some categories have Special Integrity Standards (below); if they aren't met, the no-return rule applies.
  • For international orders, you are responsible for getting the product back to OOPbuy's China warehouse and for any customs, tax or other charges. Items must be in original condition and packaging, and refunds are issued after the returned goods are verified.

Sealed or sensitive categories are only returnable if the original seals are intact. The seal is the wrap or sticker applied by the manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

My order isn't eligible for the return service but the item has a problem. What can I do?
OOPbuy will check with the seller and look for a solution. If there's a real quality issue, OOPbuy helps protect your rights — even when the standard no-reason return doesn't apply. If the seller confirms there's no quality problem, returns aren't available under platform rules.
Who pays the shipping for a return?
For a personal-reason return you pay it; the product must come back new and resalable. If the seller sent the wrong item or it has a quality fault, OOPbuy does not charge you for the return.
I bought a free-shipping item. Do I still owe anything on return?
Yes. For free-shipping items the original shipping cost is reimbursed to the seller when you return or exchange, in addition to the return shipping.
When does my refund arrive?
Refunds are calculated on the actual product price paid and are processed once the returned item is received and verified. The amount goes back to your OOPbuy balance or original payment method per the transaction record.
