What you can ship

Most common purchases move without issue:

  • Clothing, bags and shoes
  • Books, jewelry, digital products and small home appliances
  • Household items such as curtains, bed sheets and wall art
  • Tableware, toys, small furniture, glasses and CDs

Sensitive / high-risk items

These can usually still ship, but customs in many countries watch them closely, so the chance of being fined or confiscated is higher. Choose a suitable line and declare carefully:

  • Food: meat and pre-cooked food
  • Electronics: phones (with batteries), magnetic components, power banks
  • Clothing: branded items
  • Other: liquids, powders, compressed gas, gold & silver jewelry, diamonds, coins, antiques

For digital products, seller quality on open marketplaces varies and OOPbuy can't professionally authenticate electronics — prefer reputable sellers or self-operated stores.

Prohibited items

Goods must comply with Chinese law and customs rules for entry and exit. The following can't be mailed:

  • Weapons, imitation weapons, ammunition and explosives
  • Counterfeit currency and securities; national or foreign currency (restricted)
  • Drugs and psychotropic substances; potent poisons
  • Printed, audio or video material harmful to politics, culture or morality, or involving state secrets
  • Items carrying dangerous pathogens or pests; food/drugs from epidemic areas
  • Endangered or precious animals and plants (and their specimens, seeds and breeding material)
  • Precious cultural relics and prohibited artworks; valuable Chinese medicinal materials (restricted on export)
  • Wireless transceivers and communication security devices (restricted); tobacco and alcohol (restricted)

Why some items ship separately

Two cases trigger separate shipping:

  • Oversized: if one side of a product is 90 cm or longer, the system adds a "separate packaging" label.
  • Individually packaged: items marked this way can't be combined with others in one parcel.

If some warehouse items are restricted, selecting "all" to submit a single waybill will be limited too — ship by the routes each item allows.

How restrictions are set

After inspection, OOPbuy's quality team tags each product with mailing restrictions based on brand, category and size. At parcel submission the system then shows only the routes your items can legally travel, which lowers transport risk.

Frequently asked questions

No route is showing for my parcel. Why?
A mailing restriction was set during inspection. Click "View Reason" on the route and contact online customer service. If the item allows it, OOPbuy can adjust the restriction, but you then take on the associated risk.
Why can't I ship everything in my warehouse together?
Either some items carry shipping restrictions that limit a combined waybill, or an item is marked "individually packaged" and must go on its own.
What does OOPbuy actually inspect?
Inspectors check appearance — colour, obvious damage, stains, size, model and version. Colour difference, size tolerance and performance aren't covered, and electronics get an appearance-only check with photos for you to confirm. See how to check QC photos.
